Taylor Swift delights fans with mash-up of her Joe Jonas breakup track Last Kiss at Zurich concert - 16 years after splitting from musician

Taylor Swift delighted Zurich with a mashup of her Joe Jonas breakup track Last Kiss during her Tuesday evening concert. 

The songstress, 34, performed a mix of Last Kiss with Sad Beautiful Tragic during her concert at Switzerland.

Swift wrote the song following her months-long romance with the Jonas Brothers musician.

In video posted online of the performance, Taylor - who is now dating Travis Kelce - sits at the piano as she belts out the mashup with feeling.

'- "TAYLOR SWIFT'S VOCALS ON 'LAST KISS' AND 'SAD BEAUTIFUL TRAGIC' ARE STILL GIVING ME CHILLS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS,' another wrote.

'Whoa, that was insane! Taylor just blew the roof off with that Last Kiss/Sad Beautiful Tragic mashup. Her vocals are so powerful and emotive, it gives me chills every time,' another tweeted. 

Taylor and Jonas were just teenagers when they dated from July to October 2008.

She went on to pen several break-up songs thought to be about him, including Forever and Always, Mr Perfectly Fine, Better Than Revenge and Last Kiss. They have long since made amends, however. 

Obviously, both have moved on since their teenage romance - Taylor is now dating football player Travis Kelce while Joe went on to marry Sophie Turner in 2019.

However, Joe and Sophie have now split up - they filed for divorce from one another last year. 

The Mean songstress has since formed a close friendship with Sophie after the Game Of Thrones actress broke up with Joe.  

Shortly after breaking up with Joe in 2008, Taylor opened up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed that Joe had broken up with her over a 25-second phone call. 'Some day, I'm gonna find somebody really, really, really great, who's right for me,' the singer stated.

'When I find that person that is right for me, he'll be wonderful and when I look at that person, I'm not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18,' she added.

Taylor later called it 'the most rebellious thing she's ever done'.

According to People, Joe later spoke about the phone call that Swift had mentioned on his Myspace page. 

'For those who have expressed concern over the "27 second" phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation.'

'Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk,' he had written at the time.

However, as the years passed, the two appeared to be on good terms. In 2019, Taylor notably apologized to the actor for putting him 'on blast' during her Ellen DeGeneres interview.

After Sophie's marriage to Joe ended in 2023, she formed a close friendship with Taylor

And last year in May, Joe gave an update on his relationship with Swift during an interview on the Dax Shepherd Armchair Expert podcast , per Billboard.

He admitted, 'I'm cool with Taylor. We're cool.' In regards to her devoted fanbase (Swifties), he stated, 'I hope to think they like me…No one f***s with the Swifties, you know?'

Swift even suggested in her 2020 song Invisible String that she had sent Sophie and Joe a present for their baby girl, Willa, who was born in July of that year.

'Cold was the steel of my axe to grind /For the boys who broke my heart/Now I send their babies presents,' Taylor sang.

In addition to three-year-old daughter Willa, Sophie and Joe also share daughter Delphine, nearly two. 

Sophie then wore a 'Mr. Perfectly Fine' friendship bracelet at the Jonas Brothers' The Tour at Yankee Stadium. She also took to social media to share a 'Fearless' bracelet, the album mostly inspired by Joe.

After Sophie's marriage to Joe ended in 2023, she formed a close friendship with Taylor, with the duo spotted at dinner at popular Manhattan eatery Via Carota in September 2023, the same month that the actress and singer announced they were divorcing.

The ladies bonded while sharing a sofa on The Graham Norton show back in 2019, where Sophie was quizzed about her recent Vegas marriage to Joe and Taylor discussed her new single Me!

Their friendship has ramped up in recent months, and The Mail on Sunday understood that Taylor became an increasing support to the British actress after the end of her four-year marriage to Joe turned sour.

Of their alliance, a friend said: 'Taylor and Sophie may not have been seen together much over the years but there has been a friendship there. However, once Taylor realised what Sophie was going through she wanted to lend her a shoulder to cry on.

'Taylor isn't silly though. She is absolutely aware that if the two of them are seen together it will attract a lot of attention and a lot of column inches. And the fact that their moniker 'Saylor' has now been coined means that they have become a thing.'

Sophie previously praised the singer for her support during that difficult time, telling British Vogue in May: 'Taylor was an absolute hero to me this year.'

Sophie explained that when she needed a place to stay in New York with her two daughters, she asked Taylor if she knew of somewhere she could rent.

Without hesitation Taylor offered up her own home in the Big Apple for free.

Sophie said of the gesture: 'I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me, and provided us with a home and a safe space. She really has a heart of gold.'
