Fans were left in tears after watching the new trailer for Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield's romantic drama We Live In Time on Wednesday.

Directed by John Crowley, the film follows Almut (Florence) and Tobias (Andrew) as they embark on a 10-year relationship that is challenged by time limits in a deeply moving romance.

Through snapshots of their life together - falling for each other, creating a home and building a family - a difficult truth is uncovered that rocks the relationship's foundation to the core.

And fans have revealed they are 'already crying' after watching the trailer as they expressed their fears for their emotions when the film is released on October 11.

They suggested it seems like an 'adult' version of hit 2014 film The Fault In Our Stars based on the novel by John Green.

'Looks like its really gonna nail the balance between love, joy and grief. Trailer is heavy on love and joy. I can tell the grief bits are gonna come like a punch to the gut.'

The film, will be screened for the first time at Toronto Film Festival and will hit theatres in a limited release on October, 11.

The first trailer begins as Almut and Tobias are brought together in a surprise meeting that changes their lives forever as they learn to treasure every moment of their unconventional love story.

The trailer sees Almut and Tobias first cross paths in a hospital room.

Bruised and looking worse-for-wear with a brace around his neck, Tobias asks Almut, 'So sorry, but do we know each other?'

'Yeah, no,' she replies, before admitting that she is the reason he's injured because she's accidentally hit him with her car.

The pair eventually fall in love and have a daughter together, leading a blissful life up until the point when Almut receives an ominous diagnosis.

Last year, the Dune 2 star and Spider-Man actor sparked traffic chaos in Orpington in Kent in May, 2023, as they shot scenes for their new film.

The pair were filming for the new film, and fans gathered in the early hours of the morning to watch the behind-the-scenes action.

But traffic seemed to be stacking up while Florence and Andrew filmed a scene in which Florence appeared to be going into labour.

Traffic cones had been placed along the road and a man in a high-vis jacket was seen directing drivers as they passed by the filming area.

A sign stood on the street to warn pedestrians they were entering a filming location and could expect to appear in the movie.

We Live in Time will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

At the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, the film production company StudioCanal sold the movie to A24 for U.S. distribution.

Nick Payne, who has worked as a writer on The Crown, wrote the screenplay and developed the script.

The film is executive produced by Benedict Cumberbatch via his company SunnyMarch alongside Leah Clarke, Adam Ackland and Guy Heeley.
