Celebs Go Dating has reportedly been forced to stop filming after one of the stars was rushed to hospital with a mystery illness.

This year Love Island's Chris Taylor, Helen Flanagan, MAFS' Ella Morgan, Jamelia, Gogglebox's Stephen Lustig-Webb and Made in Chelsea star Tristan Phipps are taking part in the show.

And according to a new report, Ella, 29, suffered some escalating health woes last week and had to be given medical assistance - throwing the E4 show into chaos.

She is now no longer filming while she receives treatment and is still in hospital in a stable condition, according to The Sun.

A source told the publication: 'Ella began to feel unwell last week and was really struck down by the illness.

'After being rushed to A&E Ella was admitted to hospital and her family and friends have rallied around her.

'Filming for Celebs Go Dating has been halted in the meantime as bosses scramble to put a plan together.

'Ella was a dream booking and considered the star of the series by producers and everything remains up in the air right now but they know her health comes first.'

The insider went on to claim that Ella's condition continued to deteriorate and she was forced to take a break from social media to recover.

It is understood that the other stars are still continuing to film the show.

Ella's representative and Channel 4 has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

On Saturday Ella told how she is taking a break from social media for the sake of her health.

The TV beauty told fans she had 'never been so ill' but did not go into details about her sudden health woes.

She said: 'Taking a short little insta break, I have never been so ill in all my life. I need rest then I'll be back with good content, hopefully if I make it!'

Meanwhile, Ella recently revealed she almost quit Celebs Go Dating just hours into filming.

The reality star, 29, who became the first transgender bride on the UK version of Married At First Sight UK,  was 'excited' to have signed up for the E4 show but found that pursuing romance in front of the cameras had 'triggered' her.

Taking to Instagram Stories, she said: 'I'm really excited about this journey, but I nearly quit the other day. It was just getting so much.

'It was quite triggering. I don't know what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a bit of a breeze and a walk in the park.

'This is definitely more of a solo journey than MAFS. With Celebs Go Dating you're working out what you do right, what do you wrong, what you need to work on.'

Ella explained that taking part in the E4 dating show is more of a 'solo' experience than MAFS but doesn't want to use her platform to only talk about her transition, which she began at the age of 16.

She continued: 'This is definitely more of a solo journey than MAFS. With Celebs Go Dating you're working out what you do right, what do you wrong, what you need to work on.

She concluded: 'Now I'm going to have to be fully vulnerable and be myself, which isn't just crazy, loud, fun Ella. I'm obviously a lot more serious and tame.'

Ella has made history as the first transgender participant on Celebs Go Dating, and her time on MAFS famously saw her couple up with JJ Slater, who is the current boyfriend of Katie Price.

Katie was left 'betrayed' by Katie when when the ex-glamour model stole her ex and Katie is now said to be nervous about what Ella will reveal.

Other stars who may join the show are Made in Chelsea's Tristan Phipps and Love Island OG Hannah Elizabeth.
