Yes, it's actor Sean Pertwee!

These days Sean is mainly recognised for his narration of MasterChef: The Professionals, after he replaced India Fisher from the fourth series onwards.

But he has a long bloodline in the industry as his sister is actress Dariel Pertwee, his grandfather is actor and screenwriter Roland Pertwee and his father is the legendary Jon Pertwee - best known for playing the third incarnation of Doctor Who in the 1970s.

He is also married to make-up artist Jacqui Hamilton-Smith.

Sean, who is known for his role as Alfred Pennyworth, butler to Bruce Wayne in Gotham, voices a late-night radio talk-show host called Lawrence who is listened to by main character and Taxi driver Tony, who is played by Robert Glenister.

Lawrence is one of  Tony's only lifelines as he takes a turn for the worst after he lost his job as teacher, his confidence and marriage.

The show was dubbed as a 'claustrophobic tale about the power of influence those with the loudest voice have over the most vulnerable people'.

And it follows Tony as he plucks up the courage to ring Lawrence on air and finally feels listened to after many years.

But soon Tony beings to interpret Lawrence's 'worldview' in dangerous ways.

The relationship grows into an unhealthy obsession until he comes to the realisation that the real Lawrence isn't the man he portrays himself to be on air.

MasterChef and BBC Radio 4 adverts are not all Sean is know for as he also starred in 2008 film Doomsday and the film Devil's Playground in 2010.

The Night Caller starts on Channel 5 on Sunday, July 7 at 9pm.

Viewers can then watch the show back to back over the next four consecutive nights as it airs until Wednesday, July 10.
