Blake Cochrane has won a 'life changing' sum of money for charity on a game show. 

The Paralympian appeared on Tipping Point Australia this week, where he earned $83,000 for the Humpty Dumpty foundation.

According to their website, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, 'helps hospitals and health services care for children by providing essential and often lifesaving medical equipment and initiatives that improve health outcomes'.

It continues: 'For more than 30 years, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation has been helping hospitals and health services care for children by providing much needed medical equipment and initiatives that improve health outcomes.' 

'Children are such delicate creatures,' the athlete told 9Entertainment after his amazing win. 

'I love them dearly and I'd do anything to help them out,' he added. 

The father of two, who shares son Eli, three, and daughter Sophia, one, with wife Lauren, said it's an issue close to his head. 

'Being a father myself now, and with a Paralympic background, I'd like to know that if something were to happen my kids would be looked after in the best way possible,' he explained.

Blake, who is a retired Australian Paralympic swimmer, won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics. 

He then brought home two gold medals at the 2012 London Paralympics. 

The celebrated athlete went on to win a silver medal for the Men's 100m Breaststroke in Rio 2016.

His next win was a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. 

Blake, who is a retired Australian Paralympic swimmer, won a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics. He then brought home two gold medals at the 2012 London Paralympics

The swimmer became the first Australian para athlete to go to four Commonwealth Games.

He made his debut at the tender age of 19 at Delhi in 2010.

Blake is proficient in multiple swimming styles, including freestyle, individual medley and breaststroke. 

The accomplished athlete announced his retirement from swimming in 2022.
