The Valley: Jax Taylor fat-shamed Brittany Cartwright, told her nobody liked her and REFUSED to leave family home as his 'mean as a snake' behavior is laid bare in shock finale

Brittany Cartwright revealed the reasons why she separated from Jax Taylor after and moved out of their matrimonial house on Tuesday's season finale of The Valley on Bravo.
'A lot has happened with me and Jax,' Brittany, 35, said in a confessional. 'We were already having issues all summer long, but once the cameras stopped rolling, things just seemed like they were getting worse and worse and worse. So about six weeks ago, I separated from Jax. I moved into an AirBnb with Cruz because Jax would not leave the house. '
Brittany said that Jax, 44, not moving out showed his selfishness. Brittany said she left with their three-year-old son Cruz because the situation at home was toxic. Brittany said Jax would come with a hangover and in the morning would be 'mean as a snake.'
'I just hit this point where I just started noticing everything that he did to me,' Brittany said. 'It just hit me like a ton of bricks.'
Brittany said during their relationship that Jax cheated on her, disrespected her and humiliated her.

'I have been through a lot of pain in this relationship,' Brittany said. 'I just can't deal with it anymore.'
Michelle Lally, 36, who also revealed on the show that she was getting divorced from her husband Jesse, 39, said she was surprised why it took her so long to file for divorce.
Jason Caperna, 40, checked in with Jax at his bar. Jax said it was stressful because he was now being followed by paparazzi.
'There were no affairs,' Jax said. 'There's no cheating. No abuse. There's none of that. I'm so triggered and I'm so, my fuse is this big. '
Jax said they were just not getting along. Jax said he needed to go to a doctor and be put on some kind of antidepressant.
'I have to get help,' Jax said.
Later, Brittany went to her house to pack up her things.

Flashbacks showed Jax and Brittany at their wedding as well as his proposal
'You are not going to get away for how you treated me all those years,' Brittany said.
The Kentucky native in a flashback with co-stars Kristen Doute and Zack Whickham talked about how Jax mistreated her.
'Does he say, ''I know I treat you like s***. I know I'm mean. I know I've called you fat and I've told you you're f***ing lazy and that you're not going to have any friends if you guys break up?'',' Kristen asked.
'That was one of the main things, him saying I have no friends here in L.A.,' Brittany said of reaching her limit with Jax.
Jax said he made an appointment to see a doctor. Brittany said in a confessional that Jax was doing things just for the camera and didn't think he would actually go. Jax later admitted in a confessional that he didn't go because it was too far.
'Do you want me back or are you going to just sit there and let me go?' Brittany said. 'Because I will go!'
'Brittany I do want you back,' Jax said.
'But you know what? You decided to leave me, which is hard for me in the beginning. But as the time's been going on, this has been nice. Don't you agree?,' he added.
'I think it's been amazing,' Brittany agreed.
Jax later admitted in a confessional that he didn't go to therapy because it was too far

Brittany said he needed to make changes.
'As soon as these cameras drop, you are going to text me a million text messages and talk horrible to me,' Brittany said. 'Be real!'
Jax said they clearly can't be in the same room without arguing.
'I know my worth and I know I don't deserve to be in a relationship like this,' Brittany said in a confessional 'What was I thinking staying with him this long?'
Brittany shared her frustration with Jax.
'Why haven't you done anything? Why haven't you changed?,' Brittany asked tearfully. 'You screamed at me, said horrible things to me. That I had no friends here. That nobody liked me here.'
'I never said that,' Jax claimed before backtracking.
'I'm sorry, were we out drinking?,' he asked.

Jax admitted to having a lot of pent up aggression that he took out on her.
'It has been an amazing nine years,' Jax said in a confessional. 'I have no regrets. I love Brittany. I do. I love my wife.'
Brittany got her bag and left the house.
The episode titled Opening Bars, Closing Chapters opened with Jax and Brittany putting the final details on their bar. Brittany surprised Jax by bringing his sister Jenny to help get the bar ready on time.
Brittany said her feelings were hurt that he didn't make time for them to try to have another baby.
'I just had second thoughts,' Jax said. 'Every man in the world has had second thoughts.'
Kristen, 41, told her boyfriend Luke Broderick that she thought Jesse wasn't a good husband and she didn't blame Michelle for texting someone else.
Michelle had a frank talk with Jesse at their house.
'I am being honest that I lost a lot of those feelings for you,' Michelle said. 'I want to be in love with you the way I used to be, but I don't know if I can. I'm sorry.'
Jesse started crying.

Jax and Brittany were excited when they arrived for the soft opening of Jax's bar in Studio City. Tom Schwartz showed up and told Jax he was proud of him. Kristen and Luke also came and congratulated Jax.
Zack walked over and told pregnant Janet that he wanted them to have a conversation. Zack got emotional and started screaming and Janet walked away.
'Yeah, get the f*** out of here,' Zack said. 'You don't want to actually talk!'
'Don't ever f***ing talk to my wife like that,' Jason said. 'You think I'm f***ing around? I will wreck you dude.'
'Wow,' Zack said.
'I don't need trash in my life,' Janet said.
Jax then gave a speech and said having a bar was a dream and the only way he would do it if his wife was involved.
Kristen and Luke also came and congratulated Jax
'Yeah, get the f*** out of here,' Zack said. 'You don't want to actually talk!'
In a confessional, Jax shared that he thought his future with Brittany was looking bright. The show then flashed headlines saying Jax and Brittany were taking time apart.
The episode then flashed forward to six months later with Brittany telling TMZ that her moving out and taking space was the best situation for her.
'I didn't see this coming,' Jax said crying in a confessional covering his eyes. 'I never thought I would be in the position that I'm in right now.'
Jax then walked off screen.

The show went to March 2, 2024, at Jesse and Michelle's house. With Michelle arriving with their four-year-old daughter Isabella. She started picking out things to bring to Michelle's house.
'Michelle told me three days after we wrapped the camera that our relationship was over,' Jesse said in a confessional. 'It made me feel like a f***ing idiot. It made me feel like I was blind and blindsided.'
Michelle and Jesse then discussed their child sharing schedule.
'As long as it makes sense and it's 50/50,' Michelle said.
'It's 50/50 two days on and two days off is perfect,' Jesse said.
'Yeah, I have no issues,' Michelle said.
'I finally hit that point where I knew I am done and I want to move on and I want to get divorced, and start my new life,' Michelle said in a confessional. 'There's no question whether or not I made the right choice.'
Michelle said she wanted him to make a list regarding their business.
'It is very clear and that is why it should be in writing,' Michelle said.
'The only thing we don't fight about is Isabella,' Jesse said in a confessional.
Jesse said he didn't want to sign anything until he got an attorney.
'What do you mean you are not signing? Michelle said. 'We need to get divorced. In order to get divorced, you need to sign.'
Jesse said he wanted to do it his way.
'I don't care, I just want to get divorced and the sooner the better,' Michelle said. 'There's nothing to discuss.'

Michelle said they were not doing business together and he didn't need to make anything complicated.
Jesse broke down crying in a confessional worrying about how their split would affect their daughter.
'To be the one who makes the decision to get divorced is incredibly hard, because one day I am going to have to tell my daughter that I left her dad,' Michelle said in a confessional.
