The Fox's Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody have taunted a caller during their Secret Sound guessing game.

The woman named Beth called Melbourne breakfast radio show Fifi, Fev and Nick on Friday and played the game to win $150,000.

In a video shared to TikTok, the excited hairdresser jumped up and down at her Glam Doll Beauty salon in Sunbury after successfully making it to air.

'Are you ready? Are you listening?' Beth yelled into the phone before revealing her guess.

'I think it's the plastic coin when you put it into the trolley and the buckle comes out when they're all connected. Do you know what I'm talking about?'

The hosts then said: 'Are you ready for this?'

'Yes I'm ready for this. My knee caps are shaking. I'm ready, I'm ready,' she yelled as she excitedly jumped up and down.

'You're killing me. What is it? I've got to sit down... I can't handle it,' Beth said while breathing heavily.

'Is someone with you?' Fifi asked her before they revealed her guess was incorrect.

'How could you do that to me?' asked a devastated Beth.

'They got me going. I was shaking,' she said after hanging up the call.

Viewers called the moment 'cruel' in Beth's comments.

'I felt like that was cruel to drag it on for so long, wrote one sympathetic fan.

It comes after the breakfast radio show was accused of copying a raft of marketing tactics from its newest rival, The Kyle And Jackie O Show.

KIIS FM's The Kyle And Jackie O Show launched in Melbourne on April 29 after topping the Sydney breakfast FM radio for 40 surveys in a row.

The racy radio program is now in direct competition with The Fox's Fifi, Fev and Nick, whose breakfast radio show has seen major success in Melbourne since its inception in 2014.

And while Fifi, Fev and Nick previously insisted they aren't concerned about the new competition and are 'focusing on themselves', listeners have noticed how similar their marketing has become to that of Kyle And Jackie O.

One similarity is between the prize money that was given away by both shows as part of their respective sound guessing games.

On April 26, The Kyle And Jackie O Show revealed their guessing game The Noise will be worth $150,000.

Curiously, on the very same day Fifi, Fev and Nick announced their own Secret Sound guessing game had changed its prize pool from $100,000 to $150,000.

On April 29, The Kyle And Jackie O Show upped their prize pool to $200,000, and on May 11 Fifi, Fev and Nick appeared to try and one-up their rival by announcing the Secret Sound would be worth $300,000 for one day only.
