Martha took to TikTok on Wednesday to give a further insight into her health scare as she revealed she was referred to hospital for a string of scans due to her headaches.

In a series of videos, Martha addressed the 'worst week' of her life as she detailed her 'stress' over the terrifying scare and reassured fans that she was now doing better.

The reality TV star said doctors believed they had spotted a colloid cyst on her scan and referred her for an MRI scan for further investigations.

A colloid cyst is a benign, fluid-filled sac that arises in the third ventricle of the brain and requires immediate medical attention, such as surgery.

Martha said she thought she was going to have to undergo invasive brain surgery to remove the cyst and was left terrified by the prospect.

'I'm already like hyperventilating. That's all I need right now, my life has just started, I've had a baby, my baby is a year old,' Martha shared of the shock news.

'I was s***ting myself, I didn't get out of bed for two days.'

Martha said she was facing a two-week wait before her MRI scan but managed to get seen earlier after calling multiple neurosurgeons and clinics for an appointment.

After her MRI scan, she was then told she needed another CAT scan for further imagery, leading to her fears growing over the apparent cyst.

'The sheer state of panic I was in, I kept thinking everything was getting worse and worse,' she admitted.

Martha said she walked into the doctors in floods of tears and was supported by her husband Michael Brunelli during the emotional time.

However, Martha then got the positive news that her scans had revealed she didn't have a colloid cyst, but the spots were actually two calcium deposits.

Some calcium deposits can be benign and harmless, while others can be linked to other health conditions.

A relieved Martha was told by her doctor that the deposits were nothing to worry about and that her migraines were likely caused by a pinched nerve in her neck.

'I'm perfectly healthy, there's nothing wrong with any of the findings in my brain and she said I can live a perfectly healthy and long life with calcium deposits in my brain,' she shared.

'I spent the last week of my life thinking I was going to have the most invasive brain surgery and potentially die in theatre, or die from a very rare cyst in my brain.

'It was the scariest time in my life, the stress and the anxiety and the panic that I went through, I don't wish that on everyone.'

Responding to a fan who asked her how she was feeling and if she was pregnant, Martha said: 'Ha, I'm OK. Just dealing with a shocking migraine that continues to linger.

'Can confirm I'm not pregnant, I did take a test yesterday, because, well me and pregnancy don't have a good history.'

Martha suffered with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) during her first pregnancy, which is a severe type of nausea and vomiting that lasts longer than a few days.

When asked what helped her deal with HG, Martha replied: 'Nothing! I took everything that was offered to me, nothing gave me any relief whatsoever.

'This photo was the beginning of the 2nd trimester of my pregnancy. This wasn't even the worst of it.

'I did take steroids at some stage, probably towards the end of the 2nd trimester. While they gave me an appetite again, they did nothing for the nausea.

'The last six weeks of my pregnancy were probably the best for me. I felt well enough to go out and be social.'
