Home and Away fans were treated to the wedding of the year in April as Leah Patterson-Baker and Justin Morgan, portrayed by Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart said 'I do' in a stunning ceremony.

However some fans were quick to call out multiple errors on the wedding certificate.

The wedding episode aired on April 9 2024, however, filming took place approximately five to six months prior - with the date on the document still showing 2023.

'Filmed in 2023 but shown this year, (they) should have amended the date to coincide,' one fan wrote.

Another noted the wedding as depicted was not strictly legally-binding.

'This certificate is incomplete as the day and month are missing and John has not signed it after the date. None of the weddings on this show follow legal protocol as they often occur without giving the celebrant 30 days notice,' they wrote.

'Not being simple… but that's when it must've been (filmed) and not aired,' a third wrote.

Meanwhile other fans were quick to shut down the error: 'It's a fake certificate because it's a TV show obviously,' one commented.

It comes as Ada and James are believed to be dating after bombshell photos emerged of the pair packing on the PDA last month on Anzac Day.

In the photos, Ada shared a very public embrace with James.

The pair - who play lovers on Home and Away - enjoyed a beverage together at The Royal Hotel and were later seen getting cosy outside the establishment after leaving the venue.

There was also a recent sighting of the couple at a cinema, where onlookers said they were 'not shy' about publicly displaying their affection.

Ada was married to Chrys Xipolitas for nine years - They reportedly split briefly in 2010 before reconciling and welcoming a son, Johnas, in August 2012.

The actress, who also starred in '90s soap Heartbreak High, went on to split from Xipolitas for good and dated businessman Rigby for about eight years and they called it quits sometime in late 2023.

The news of James and Ada growing close comes after his ex Sarah - a Home and Away alum - confirmed to Stellar magazine earlier this year the pair had divorced.

Sarah and James wed in 2019 after getting engaged in November 2018 - He had proposed at the restaurant where they'd had their first date a year earlier.

Stellar reported the couple had 'been living separate lives for some time' prior to their March divorce.
