KIIS radio host Will McMahon breaks down as he apologises for his bad behaviour and admits to mental health struggle: 'I don't like myself very much'
Will McMahon has been an open book about his mental health struggles, often using his radio platform to spread awareness.
Now the KIIS Network star has let the emotions flow on Thursday in a vulnerable message on the Will & Woody show which left producers in tears.
Breaking down, the radio star apologised to producers and his co-host Woody Whitelaw for being 'a real d**k' after he had a dip in in his mental health.
'I don't like myself very much at the moment and when I don't like myself, let's face it, I've been a real d**k the past couple of weeks,' he said.
'I feel really bad about that because I know that you guys are around me all day, every day and I can be really tricky to deal with when I'm like that.'

He went on to say he's been 'over-controlling' to make up for the insecurity he's feeling and said he 'resents anyone who takes that control away'.
'It becomes this really vicious cycle because you see other people hurt around you and then ultimately you keep bruising them and you aren't listening to what's going on underneath,' he added.
'And because the more you dislike yourself, the more you want to control and the more you control, the more you dislike yourself - it kind of just doesn't end and it is a really hard thing for me to tap out of.'

The radio star finished his emotional message by thanking his colleagues for being patient with him and expressing appreciation for listeners who are patient with their own struggling loved ones.
Will began his radio career back in 2012 as a weekend breakfast show host on the HIT Network alongside Woody.
After two years, the school yard friends moved to Perth to host 92.9FM's breakfast show with co-host Heidi Anderson.
Following a four year stint on Perth's airwaves, the pair jetted back to Melbourne where they picked up their current KIIS FM drive show gig.
