The couple have been together five years and co-own a Manchester-based coffee shop called Boxx2Boxx, near where they live in the northern city.

How old is Shelly and what does she do?

Shelly was born in May 1985 making her 37 years old.

When she isn't running Boxx2Boxx and serving espressos alongside her partner Jill, Shelly works as a community health officer.

The couple opened their cafe in 2021 and it is apparently currently covered in 'vote Jill' memos as well as a permanent portrait of the England star.

The Northenden coffee shop was named after Jill's infamous role as a box-to-box midfielder throughout her career for club and country', it states on the website.

In Shelly's bio on the website, it also says: 'Hey I'm Shelly the co-owner of Boxx2Boxx coffee shop, if you're ever looking for me you will find me here because this is where I spend most days.

'A flat white is my go to drink. When I get time off I love playing board games and cleaning! I enjoy getting out and going for walks with a good coffee!'

Where did Jill and Shelly meet? 

Shelly's sister his Jill's former England teammate Rachel Unitt, so it is likely the couple met when the supportive sibling was coming to cheer her sister on at games.

In October 2021 Shelly shared a snap of them celebrating their fourth anniversary together, so they have now been together for five years.

Sharing a post on October 17 with the hashtag #4years, she penned, 'It went too fast…but thanks for the best weekend! #4years #spoilt #loveyou.'

Are they married?  

Jill and Shelly have been engaged since March 2020 but it is understood that they are yet to tie the knot.

Jill announced their engagement by uploading a picture of Shelly's hand holding a coffee while wearing her sparkling engagement ring.

The ex-footballer tagged her fiancee and wrote: 'The best coffee so far.'

Shelly also posted the same snap and wrote in her caption: 'Yes yes yes!!'

Do they have any children? 

While they do not have any children together, Shelly has two teenage daughters, Evie, 19, and Hattie, 15, from a previous relationship.

Shelly's daughters live at home with Shelly and Jill and the mother-of-two admitted that they had been missing Jill since she had left for the jungle.

Shelly told the Sun: 'They are missing her bouncing around. They are so proud of Jill and really excited.'

She said, 'I didn't want to leave them at first, but they said 'go, go' - it is very different from seeing her playing football obviously because it is just for one hour but we are all rooting for her.'

Shelly also mentioned the girls in her emotional letter which Jill received while in the jungle.

The note read: Hi Jill it's Shelly, I love you and miss you so much. There isn't a minute that goes by where you're not on my mind.

'I love you so much and now the rest of the world does too. This is because you're such a great person with your positive, kind and encouraging self. I'll have a flat white waiting for you, love your biggest fans, Shelly, Evie and Hattie.'
