Ray J honors his sister Brandy with a massive tattoo of her face on his leg as he calls the singer his 'best friend'

Ray J showed off the love he has for his famous sister Brandy by getting her face permanently inked on his skin.

Kim Kardashian's ex-boyfriend, 41, took to his Instagram on Tuesday night to share the impressive new body art with a clip that showed the entire process - from the initial sketch to the final result. 

In the caption of the post the loving brother explained that he is in the process of getting his whole leg tattooed, and said he had to start with Brandy, 43, whom he called his 'best friend.'

The Love & Hip Hop star looked relaxed for the ink session, covering his eyes with black shades and sporting a black bucket hat, a matching T-shirt, and a gold chain. 

'NEW @brandy TATOO BY ONE OF THE GREATEST!! @_mashkow,' the One Wish hitmaker started out his caption, tagging New York artist Alexey Mashkov.

The video of the singer getting his new ink was appropriately set to the soundtrack of Brandy's 1995 single Best Friend from her debut studio album, Brandy.

The star seemed touched by her brother's display of devotion, as she commented underneath the post writing, 'Brooooooo,' with multiple red-heart emojis.

The creative rendering of Brandy included multiple tattoos on her face, with the words 'best friends' on her forehead and '4 ever' on her cheeks, as well as 'From Ray with love' on the side of her face. 

Mashkow's artistic handiwork also shows the That Boy Is Mine singer wearing her signature braids. 

The two men had a funny exchange about the process in the comments, with Ray J suggesting that perhaps he did not handle the pain of getting the large tattoo too well.

After Mashkow wrote, 'It was a pleasure' underneath the post, Ray J quipped back, writing, 'Let's get one more in while you here!! I won't yell and scream like the last time lol.' 

It seems the siblings have a very close bond, as earlier this week Ray J payed another tribute to Brandy, posting a photo of the two of them and writing 'The greatest!!' to which she responded with 'I wuv you' and four red-heart emojis.

Brandy has also previously displayed her love for her brother on social media, sharing a birthday tribute earlier this year, where she called him a 'genius that can do it all.'

'I love you so much and I am so proud to be your sister. You are growing, healing, and focusing everyday on making a safe space for all of us,' she added.
