Talk about taking wetting the baby's head to the next level...

A stag do company has offered future dads the opportunity to book an alternative version of a stag do – dubbed a 'dad do' – where the father-to-be and his friends can head on holiday for 'one last blowout' before the baby is born.

Fathers-to-be can book the pre-baby celebrations with StagWeb.co.uk to get the 'lads' together for one more big weekend before the arrival of their child.

The terms 'dadchelor party' and 'baby stag' came to prominence in the United States around 2010, according to the stag do company.

Now, StagWeb is looking to ignite the trend in the UK.

It polled hundreds of men aged 25-40 to find out how many would be interested in a dad do and while over 50 per cent said no, 43 per cent said absolutely (stock photo)

According to StagWeb's 'dad do' FAQs, the dad do can be anything you want it to be, but should take place at least a couple of months before the due date in case 'the little one makes an early appearance'.

Dads and their group of friends are encouraged to include games like nappy-changing relays and baby-food-tasting challenges to give the 'groom' a preview of what's in store after the big day.

The stag do website also offers bubble football and go-karting, plus a wrestling school, brewery tours, beer bikes and spas.

Those willing to risk the wrath of their partner can even choose to secure an appearance from 'sexy French maids' or 'oil wrestling' ladies.

The StagWeb company polled hundreds of men aged 25 to 40 to find out how many would be interested in a dad do.

While over 50 per cent said no, 43 per cent said absolutely.

Jon Stainer, creative director at StagWeb, explained: 'Fatherhood is a game-changer. It's a transformative journey and we thought it deserves its own unique celebration, much like a stag do for when guys are getting married.

'The dad do is a way of honouring this massive milestone, offering a chance for the dad and his mates to bond, reflect, and look forward to the thrilling ride of parenthood.

'The older you get, the harder it is to get all your mates together, so we think the dad do is a great opportunity for guys to come together to celebrate.'

Pre-made packages are ready to book starting from £129 per person, but customers are also able to build their own custom dad dos. Visit: StagWeb.co.uk.
