Former NFL head coach Chuck Pagano gave a stern warning to New York Giants rookie Malik Nabers on social media after the star wide receiver was filmed throwing wads of cash in the air at a strip club over the weekend.

Nabers was spotted at what appears to be Area 29, an adult-entertainment venue in the Houston area, over the weekend.

In the videos posted on Instagram, the table Nabers is sitting at is visited by one of the club's dancers with wads of cash in her hands with sparklers attached to them with another holding a sign that says 'Quarterback Prime', likely for one of the other guests.

The next video shows Nabers and his fellow club-goers with hundreds of dollars worth of $1 bills in their hands, tossing them into the air.

Although NFL players enjoying themselves when away from the team is nothing new, like fellow LSU alumnus Odell Beckham Jr.'s extravagant boat trips of the past, doing it while being recorded on social media before playing an NFL snap is rare.

'Yo! Young King,' Pagano started with a crown emoji. 'You have the rest of your life to do whatever you want. Family, Teammates, Giants Brass etc… counting on you to be AVAILABLE!!! Sacrifice now. Will be well worth the wait. TRUST ME!!'

Pagano coached either college football or the NFL from 1984-2020.

Pagano was the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts from 2012-2017, leading the team to three straight playoff appearances to begin his tenure with the team.

His tenure with the Colts culminated with a 45-7 loss to the Tom Brady-led New England Patriots, the game that later became the center of the 'Deflate-gate' scandal.

Pagano retired from coaching after the 2020 season to focus on time with his family.

Nabers was the No 6 overall pick in this year's NFL Draft and has been looked upon as a catalyst for a revamped Giants offense with lackluster play from quarterback Daniel Jones defining his time in New York.

Nabers was the second wide receiver drafted this year after Marvin Harrison Jr. and was college teammates with No 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels, who was selected by the Washington Commanders after winning last year's Heisman Trophy.
