The drunk male 'Karen' filmed breaking a young boy's fishing rod in a TikTok video that has gone viral is a well-respected church leader and retired executive.
Matthew Webster, 62, was captured furiously rushing towards the teens snatching the fishing rod from his hands before breaking the $200 rod in half, as the wide-eyed kid watched in shock with his mouth hanging open, as he yelled, 'Nooooooo!'
'Don't touch my rod! Don't f*****g touch my rod,' the other teen is heard saying while standing near Webster's home on Admiral's Landing neighborhood in East Knoxville. He told the teens they were 'trespassing on private property.'
The June 24 exchange became heated and at one point Webster threatened that he would toss their cell phones into the lake, as he slurred profanities at them.
It has now been revealed by The Smoking Gun that Webster and his wife Eileen retired to Knoxville in 2018 from Indiana, where he was a regional president for a division of Dover Corporation, a global manufacturer.
The Matthew C. Webster Trust purchased the 3000-square-foot home for $485,000 in July of that year. In 2021, the deed was transferred to the Webster Family Community Property Trust, as per the news outlet.
After his move to Tennessee, Webster volunteered to chair the Haiti Outreach Program, a Catholic volunteer group of the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, at a local Catholic church.

Footage shows Webster attempting to intimidate one of the boys by shouting in his face as the boy recorded him as he grew more irate. 'Do you want your phone to go into the lake young man?
'Back away from him,' the other teen said. 'Don't test me, Webster quipped.' Walk out of here. Leave! Leave!'
A man and woman who may have been connected to Webster watched helplessly as the exchange between the trio became more heated.
The other teen told Webster 'you threatened us... you threatened us,' as he told the homeowner he was waiting for the police to come.
Webster responded, 'I'm going to take your phone and throw it in the lake,' but the kid didn't back down telling him if he does take his phone, he will 'press charges.'

Webster shot back, 'for what?' The teen responded for 'assault. What?' Webster told the youngster, 'It's not assault' and told them to leave his property, but the boy and his friend did not leave.
His voice grew louder as he face grew beet red as he yelled, 'You're fishing in a private lake. Get out of here now,' he demanded.
The teen shot back, 'the cops are coming we are just waiting for them.'
Pointing his finger in the air, Webster told the boys they will get prosecuted, and sad: 'You're parents are gonna be real proud that you're gonna pay all kinds of money because you're being a d***. '
'I'm not being a d***, the teen replied calmly. 'Sir, you are the one yelling.'
He walked over to the boy whose rod he broke telling him to go away, and the kid replied, 'don't touch me.'
One of the boys told him he smelled alcohol on Webster's breath, he snapped and said, 'You're right, I had a drink. Is that against the law, dumb s***?'
The relief group, that Webster chairs, raises funds to provide 'impoverished children [with] daily nourishment, clean water, education and health care, and other much-needed services.'
Aside from his charity work, Webster is also involved in the homeowner's. association.
It is unclear if the police responded to the scene.
When DailyMail.com contacted the Knox County Sheriff's they were unavailable, but according to a spokesperson there is an active investigation, but further details could not be disclosed since the matter involves juveniles, as per the news outlet.
