One of Alex's first tips was to get a good spot on the hill top to watch the opening fireworks on the Wednesday night.
She also advised other revellers to opt for comfy shoes, adding she once walked 50,000 steps in one day at the festival.
When it came to logistics, Alex revealed taking toilet paper and bin bags with you is essential at all times in case nature calls.
She also advised to bring hay fever medicine if you suffer from the condition, due to the fact the festival takes place in a field.
Alex explained that it wasn't worth spending too much time deciding on where to pitch up your tent, as the camping site is so far away from the main action.
She went on to say that many people tend not to spend too much time in their tents anyways.
Instead, she explained that it's best to pack up your essentials in a bag and carry it with you throughout the day, rather than make back and forth trips.
She also revealed how to get a good spot for the coveted Legend Slot, which usually occurs around 4pm on the Sunday, advising that it is best to come early, as the act usually gathered huge crowds.
She warned that the phone signal on site can be very weak, due to the high concentration of people and of how remote the festival is.
