Our Opportunity:

Are you ready to transform the way Chewy manage their outbound supply chain and drive the best customer experience at the lowest cost to the company. The Outbound Science and Tech team with Chewy Operations org is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II at our hub in Bellevue, WA to own the design, development, and maintenance of analytics and insight generation for the outbound supply chain.  This includes identifying key metrics, develop insightful dashboards and insights, utilize latest technology to drive automated insight and defect identification. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Work closely with the Supply Chain teams in areas including order routing, promise, planning, FC operations, forecasting analytics, inventory placement, customer experience to continuously optimizing for improved customer experience and lower the cost for Chewy.
  • Analyze large dataset to identify trends, patterns and insights related to campaign performance, customer engagement and ROI to refine targeting strategies and justify investments, Use generative AI tools to drive automation and scale in insight generation.
  • Develop and implement robust methodologies to measure the incrementality of marketing campaigns, including A/B testing, experimental design, and causal inference techniques to evaluate impact and optimize resource allocation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics & KPIs for evaluating the effectiveness of CRM initiatives and marketing campaign
  • Design and execute experiments to quantify the incremental impact of various marketing channels, strategies and tactics on customer behavior and business outcomes
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, dashboards and reporting tools to monitor and track incrementality measurement in real time
  • Work closely with data engineering and BI teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy and accessibility for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Provide actionable recommendations and insights to optimize marketing strategies, allocation of resources and campaign targeting efforts based on incrementality analysis
  •  Communicate findings, results, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization through clear and compelling presentations, reports, and visualizations to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance data collection, attribution modelling and experimentation capabilities to advance incrementality measurement capabilities within the organization

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Experience must involve 1 year in the following: planning, forecasting and/or Supply Chain.
  • Experience must also involve the following: dealing with results, metrics, and data to create new processes;
  • Expertise in Tableau, ETL, data warehousing and SQL;
  • Comfortable with Python.
  • conveying key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and effectively communicating with technical teams;
  • performing analysis with descriptive statistics, includng A/B tests;
  • Big Data stack environments (Hadoop); and
  • experience with retail, ecommerce, customer analytics, and transportation data.

Compensation & Benefits:

Our pay range for a Business Intelligence Engineer II position is $115,500.00 - $183,500.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
