There are few breakfasts easier than spooning yogurt into a bowl and shaking granola on top—especially if you buy the granola. (Don’t sleep on our editors’ go-to brands.) But for those weeks when you have a spare hour-ish, try making your own. While a bag at the store gets to make all the decisions (cashews or pecans? cranberries or cherries? cinnamon or ginger?) a recipe lets you take the lead.
