/2 cup (packed) flat-leaf parsley (leaves and stems)

kale leaves (center ribs removed)

cup frozen organic berries (such as strawberries or raspberries)

banana (cut into pieces)

teaspoon ground flaxseed

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Purée ingredients with 1 cup water in a blender until smooth (add water if too thick).

  • I love this smoothie! I've been making it regularly since it was originally published. It's fresh and easy, and a great way to use up left over parsley and kale (because you know now one ever really needs that whole massive bunch of parsley!). I always use coconut water instead of plain water, for extra flavour.
