Preparation
Tear mozzarella into medium pieces and arrange on a platter. Tuck figs around cheese and scatter basil over top. Season with pepper and lots of salt. Drizzle generously with oil.

Back to TopThis was incredibly good. I had found organic black figs, perfectly ripe and managed to score some burrata in place of supermarket mozzarella. Couple of pinches of flakey sea salt, drizzled with lemon-I fused olive oil, used a bit more basil than the recipe called for, omg, to die for.
