More healthcare professionals named on database listing payments from industry

A record 80.8% of health professionals who have worked with industry are now named on the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry’s (ABPI) database of payments to doctors, Disclosure UK.

ABPI says the figure demonstrates that transparency continues to increase, with the figure up from 78.8% of health professionals named in 2022 and 72.6% in 2021.

Disclosure UK1 lists transfers of value—payments and benefits in kind—made to UK healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations by pharmaceutical companies.
