The Atlanta Braves are looking to win four games straight for the fifth time this season as they take on the Arizona Diamondback.

The Braves offense seems to be surging as they have scored five runs in four straight games, and snapped their twenty-eight game losing streak of when the opposing teams scores at least four runs.

Zac Gallen is taking the mound for the Diamondbacks and so it may be difficult to have a fifth game in a row with five runs, but if they can get to him early it may be possible with Arizona having a notoriously weak bullpen this season.

Players to keep an eye on for the Braves is Austin Riley who has seen Gallen in ten at-bats and has been very successful. He owns a .400 average, 1.455 OPS with one HR. Ozzie Albies has also had great success against Gallen with a .364 average, 1.053 OPS, and and one HR in eleven at-bats. Olson and Arcia each have a HR against Gallen. Olson has otherwise struggled with an OPS of .584 in twelve at-bats, but Arcia has a 1.000 OPS in five at-bats.

Early in the year, it was almost a guarantee you could guess what lineup the Braves were going to post based on if they would be facing a RHP or LHP. These past few weeks we have seen a major shuffling of OFers. Tonight the Braves are rolling with Eddie Rosario again in LF and the lineup is exactly the same as last night.

The Braves are bringing in Chris Sale who has been on fire over his last five starts. For the Diamondbacks, Randal Grichuck has faired well against Sale with a .983 OPS over an extended amount of time (twenty at-bats). Kevin Newman, who is batting ninth has had success against Sale in a small four at-bat sample size in which he owns an OPS of 1.250. It should be noted that the Diamondbacks two best hitters this year, Ketel Marte and Christian Walker, have struggled against Sale in limited action. Marte has twelve at-bats against Sale and has only managed a .083 average, with a .166 OPS (that is not a typo). Walker has struggled to an OPS of .500 in a limited four at-bats.

Former ROY winner, Corbin Carroll, has the night off.

First pitch is at 9:40 ET.
