2-year-old boy pulled unresponsive out of LI pool

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 2-year-old toddler is recovering after he was pulled unresponsive from a swimming pool on Long Island on Sunday, just days after the drowning of another child.

Jeremiah Isaac, 2, was found unresponsive in a family member’s swimming pool in Deer Park at around 7:15 p.m, according to Suffolk County Police Department.

Isaac was pulled from the pool, and first responders began CPR when they arrived at the scene.

The baby boy was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip before being transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital in stable condition.

Suffolk County police are investigating the incident.

This incident follows the drowning of a seven-year-old boy on Long Island on the Fourth of July.
