Hit McDonald’s at the right time and you could combine breakfast and lunch favorites.
The fast food giant serves breakfast until 10 a.m. in the U.S. and during the transition from morning to afternoon, this TikTok user found an order that has become known as the McBrunch. The sandwich contains two cheeseburger patties, bacon, scrambled eggs (not the usual round McDonald’s variety), and a hash brown on two sesame seed buns.
The social media user does note this request needs to be made around 10:35 a.m. as the restaurant is flipping over to its lunch menu when breakfast items are still near the grill. This way the McBrunch can still be constructed.
At McDonald’s locations in Australia, the McBrunch is an actual menu item. Down under it’s known as the Big Brekkie Burger and has the same ingredients as above but also adds BBQ sauce. It’s only available at participating locations before 10:30 a.m., according to the McDonald’s Australia website.
The chain also had big news recently as it announced two new sauces entering the menu in the U.S. Sweet and spicy jam sauce and mambo sauce will be rolled out Oct. 9 for a limited time only.
