Saddle up, “Yellowstone” fans, the Duttons are coming back to your television!

The beloved cowboy drama, which has been on pause since January, is slated to return in 2024. But before you put on your cowboy hat and head over to the couch, you’ll have to cool your heels a bit as the soapy western won’t wrap its fifth and final season until the tail end of the year.

People reports that the concluding episodes of the series were originally set to air in 2023, but due to the concurrent writers’ and actors’ strikes, the return was delayed.

While it’s unclear if Kevin Costner’s character, patriarch John Dutton, will make an appearance in the final episodes, fans can expect to see the rest of the Dutton brood coming back in full force in November 2024.

If you can’t get enough of endless Montana skies or devilishly handsome cowboys, fear not because “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan has more shows ready to go in the meantime.

Paramount+ has greenlit two new shows set in the “Yellowstone” universe - one called “1944” and another tentatively named “2024,” which will feature a combination of new characters and crossovers from the flagship series, reports Variety.

These shows follow a similar naming pattern from other “Yellowstone” spinoffs, with “1883” starring Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and “1923” starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren named after the eras in which they were set.
