Oh, Mylanta! Candace Cameron Bure had a scary situation unfold while she was on set for “Fuller House.”

The actress, who was guesting on the “How Rude, Tanneritos!” podcast, recently revealed that a zipline stunt in a scene inspired by “American Ninja Warrior” almost ended very badly, and claimed that she “almost died.”

“I went through the course and at the end I zipline diagonally the length of the living room and then I land on a platform,” she said. “But during rehearsal, the rig was not set up correctly and there was no safety stop on the end of it.”

Cameron Bure continued, telling her “Fuller House” costars and hosts of the podcast, Andrea Sweetin and Andrea Barber, that when she “landed off the zipline and stopped, the whole mechanism, which is all metal and very, very heavy, slid right off the track and came right next to my head within an inch.”

She continued, explaining that if she had shifted her weight differently, “it would have probably broken my neck, like landed right on top of my head.”

Sweetin chimed in, noting that the floors were dented and the stairs were broken on set as a result.

While the incident was luckily just a scare for Cameron Bure and her fellow castmates, the director decided to cut that stunt entirely, opting to film the scene on monkey bars instead.

Barber said on the podcast that “the stunt guy was fired” because of how things played out.
