Reviews and awards

It's also important for kids who are not moving to use empathy and provide support and hope to children who are moving on. Goodbye, School helped give closure to our students in a really positive way.
—Books That Heal Kids

Lippert offers a paramount perspective on the topic of saying goodbye as a mental health therapist. She has created a character that readers are able to relate to. As someone who at a young age struggled when it came to moving and changing schools, I would have loved to read a story like this one.
BookTrib

Lippert's languid prose and tender child's-eye point of view evoke the emotions of a young person's struggle with transitions, especially changing schools...Perfect for children going through transitions and the adults who guide them.
