This is a very good sounding unit as far as standalone speakers go. Filling the room with rich, accurately reproduced sound is one of the things it does wonderfully.
I had it installed in a corner of our open concept living room and it has no issues filling that space with nice sound.
There's a lot to cover regarding this speaker so I'll try to keep it simple and to the point.
I'll start with the good:
1. For it's size it punches way higher, I have an old Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 which this can overwhelm any day ( yes, I've re-foamed the woofers on the Klipsch 2 years ago). It does not muddle the bass, does not bleed mids into highs or lows. The different speakers array & HW sound filtering work very well. If you perform the room compensation routine(easy to do from the app) every time you move it around you will get consistent sound wherever you decide to install it in your house. I actually had it in my garrage for a few hours and it did reasonably well in there too.
2. Connectivity options are plentiful, from good old Bluetooth to Airplay or Chromecast over WiFi to HW connections like Optical, Line or Ethernet. It comes with a nice, color matching braided wire (+ a longer, regular 110V US standard) and a EU plug.
3. The design is wonderfully simple, it will be aesthetically integradable into any home decor theme that I can think of. If for some reason the black is too dull for some, there are options to replace the fabric covering the entire face at a reasonable price. Haven't seen any on Amazon but B&O has them in the accessories section. The wooden legs give it an even more premium look and feel, personally I would never hang this just because of those nice legs.

As far as the not so good features of this unit:
1. As with all integrated multi-driver units, the sound consistency depends on the listener's position relative to the speaker. If you sit right in front of it between 8 to 20 ft you will experience a crisper sound than if you were to sit at a 45 degree angle. My only gripe with the sound is that even though this thing goes pretty low, almost subwoofer low, you will not experience that unless you sit at the right angle. Sit in front of it and you get more mids & highs than lows. I have mine positioned at an angle since I like more boom to my audio tracks.
2. There are some software glitches, even though I had two software updates in 2 days, one for the B&O app which was crashing when first started and one for the unit itself. Even after those updates the Google assistant still won't wake up when called and trying to set it up in the Google Home app results in an error message stating "some functions are unavailable". Resetting the device did not help. I hope these issues will be resolved with future Software updates. I don't intend to use this as a Google assistant but it would be nice if all the features work.

Lastly I have to mention the price and to be honest I wouldn't have ever considered this because of that. Now that I have experienced it I can honestly say that I will be looking into getting another one. Yes, it is expensive but it is worth it. It's a solid piece of design and acoustic engineering and if you want good sound & versatility this is the best option before looking into a 7.2.2 system and dealing with the nightmare of wiring & spatial acoustic calibration.
