Good lotion but a strong scent

I liked the lotion a lot. It was light, non greasy, and felt good on my face as a daily lotion. However I couldn't get past the scent. I tried it for two weeks but the scent was too strong. It fades quickly but putting it on stung the nostrils. It reminded me of a very clean smell, like those fresh laundry scented candles.
I'd have kept the product if it was unscented or was a more subtle scent.
