A great privacy film with one of the easiest applications
We have these cute rotunda windows but our blinds don't cover them completely and we don't want our neighbors and other people looking in but we also love having the natural light so when I found this Peel and Stick Coavas Reeded Glass Window Privacy Film I decided to give it a try. We used a different brand before but it was so hard to install and it would crinkle and look unsightly or have so many air bubbles; however, when we went to install this Coavas Reeded Glass Window Privacy Film it was so much easier and we had the project done in under 30 minutes for two window panes. Additionally the film is on the thinner side but it didn't crinkle or cause any unsightly lines when applying it to the window pane. The two reusable stickers it comes with helps in the application process but when applying the second film I found that I would lose the other sticker and it would be harder to install. It still amazes me that you only need water, a razor knife/utility knife and something flat to adhere these (I used a credit card) and it looks amazing! These have not budged since putting them up and they look absolutely fantastic while also giving me and my family peace of mind that event though people can see inside it's blurred out due to the reeded glass line look. I will say if you have another person to help you install it would probably be a lot quicker and smoother installation but I did this process by myself and it was so easy! Another thing to note, the film I purchased only covered the two top parts of my windows so I ordered some more and installed them and it literally looks so good! I love how the lines match and it makes my windows look custom and high end on the inside and outside. Overall this was a fantastic purchase and one I made twice because I loved the installation, the look, and quality so much the first time.

Reactivating my son’s townhome for rental and the film that was there was looking horrible, looking for something more modern. This almost looks like mini blinds from the outside. Anyway, offers privacy and was super easy to install using soapy, water solution and squeegee. Recommended.

I recently moved into a new home. I do a lot of work from my home office and the only window in my office looks down into my neighbor's yard. I didn't want to feel like I was on display whenever I was working, so I've just been keeping the blinds closed until I could find a better solution. This film did the trick. I've attached pictures of the before, during and final results. I only intend to do the bottom half so I can still see the sky in the top half of my window. This does a very good job of obscuring the view while still letting in light (which is what I wanted). I'm only giving it four stars because the installation was a little tricky. This is only the second time I've installed window film, so maybe it's me. The first version I used went up pretty easily, but ended up leaving bubbles I just couldn't get rid of. This version was different because it requires you spray water on the window itself and you also need to spray water on the back side of the film. The tricky part of that is because the film also has a sticky side to it and you have to spray water on the sticky side while keeping the film from sticking to itself (it wants to roll up). Go slow and it can be done. With this 3D beveled finish on this film, it was also a little more work trying to squeegee out the bubbles and excess water. Overall, I'm very happy with the final results and hope that it holds up well. I just installed it, so time will tell!
