Layout all pieces especially the nuts, bolts, and washers, to be sure you have all that is needed, in fact I had extra pieces. This makes assembling much easier. Assemble in a large area as this is an 8 X 4 planter bed. The directions/pictures were easy to read and understand. After assembling it, we carried it to the garden, again not a heavy structure, however, after adding soil it felt very sturdy. I have planted vegetables in it and am very pleased with the look and sturdiness of this product. I would buy this again if needed.

Just make sure you put some thought into which panel you want covering the other when you assemble it. It's also helpful to assemble the tendons fully before screwing them into the straight sides.

I ordered the 4' by 2' bed and it was small enough and big enough at the same time for what I wanted. Easy to put together just used a screwdriver and my hand. Used my electric screwdriver till the battery died and then switched to ol' reliable. The sides are sharp, but I was able to assemble without gloves and did not get any cuts. The top and bottom are not sharp as the edges have been folded in. There are no cross supports for the size I ordered, but I don't feel they are necessary for this size.

In hindsight I should have bought a kit for a wood one. The metal gets hot when the sun beats on it. It dries out and kills anything that I plant too close to the edge. When assembling it I noticed that where the sections come together there are gaps that wouldn't close by tightening the bolts. Not a big deal, but I recommend finding a good outdoor caulk to fill the gaps. Last thing to note is that even though it may say no sharp edges, the edges where the pieces join are sharp. I got a few cuts. Might be better in a spot that doesn't get all say sun.
