Our family room is an open concept (family room to kitchen) with 3 walls. This system is exactly what I was looking for. The clarity is fantastic! We are seniors and our hearing isn’t as good as when we were younger. Maybe from listening to AC/DC too loud in our younger years. lolIf you’re looking for a good surround sound for movies I recommend this system to everyone. Easy to set up.

    Over priced and worthless. Does not come with instructions for remote. The product itself is way over price for a piece of junk that won't even stay powered on. If this is what Yamaha has to offer then I would advise against every buying any Yamaha products. This is particularly disappointing as Yamaha provided excellent products in the past, seems very few companies care a quality any longer.
