Sturdy Organization Shelving!
I purchased this shelving unit so I could store dry goods, cooking spices in a closet I’ve converted because our pantry is a paltry undersized closet in the kitchen with little storage space, and I’m a gourmet cook. I have a lot of dry goods in organization containers already so this was the perfect fit. I’m determined to organize this house and this is yet another step in that organization madness! This heavy-duty 4 shelf unit exceeded my expectations!ASSEMBLY 5/5Easy and straightforward directions. The clips I was worried about but this design makes putting the shelves together such an easy process. I’ve never put one together but I did it in 20 minutes. The hardest part is deciding the widths between shelfs. The wheels went on easily and work as expected. Shelves fit down onto a clip that you determine the height of. Counting the lines where you want the clips to all be at the same height was the hardest part of the assembly.STURDINESS 5/5I was so happy to see that this is a heavy-duty shelving unit. The materials are good and the construction shows that it will handle the 350 lb. per shelf! Materials seem long-lasting and durable.The first thing that stands out with this shelving unit is its robust build. The heavy-duty construction instills confidence in its ability to handle substantial weight. This shelving unit feels solid, doesn’t wobble. I do think I will get shelf liners so when my organization bins are fully in place, I can feel satisfied they won’t topple over. I plan on storing some kitchen appliances or heavier glass containers on this bottom shelf, it will hold the weight and still roll just fine. I loaded up my dry goods and then wheeled this through two rooms into the closet. I plan on being able to roll this into my kitchen for big cooking events like Thanksgiving or Christmas.ADJUSTABLE 5/5Shelves easily adjust to which height you want the shelf to sit. This allows you to customize the shelf, for example all heavier/taller items on bottom. Shelves can adjust easily, even if the shelves are loaded. Just empty that one shelf, reposition the clips that hold it in place and evenly and slowly lower the shelf down onto the newly positioned clips. If you let it down hard and fast onto the clips, they will pop off and you have to fix them and count the lines again. The shelves sit solid onto the clips.MULTI-PURPOSE 5/5I can imagine this shelf can be used at businesses to store items, in the garage to store items like glass jars or cleaning supplies. I would make sure to line the metal shelf grids before you put glass on it so it will sit stable. I bought gray liners that fit absolutely perfect. Everything looks so organized and I’ve utilized the vertical space in my closet, and with the wheels, can move the shelf to the left or right out of the way and still use the closet for other things. The look of the unit is really nice, I bought the black which is a shiny finish. This unit is attractive enough to be in an open room if needed.

A sturdy, industrial-look wire shelving unit. Chances are good you've come across these racks before, but if not: they're popular because they're easy to assemble tools-free, very minimalist, and designed to transfer load into the floor so can hold a lot more weight than you'd expect.
This one is very similar to older ones I've used, but the fit & finish is a little better, the directions clearer, and the parts better labeled. Nice smooth finish, no flaws or rough spots.
It has self-leveling feet and the tops are smooth cap. Not much to improve here.
Very simple assembly. The larger versions would benefit from two people to lower the shelves onto the poles exactly level, but for the size I got (36-inch wide), it's an easy solo job. Just follow the directions and make sure the plastic pieces are seated and not sliding on the legs.
No tools are necessary other than a mallet to fully lock down the shelves onto the plastic brackets. Similarly, you'll want a mallet if you want to take them apart.
Other thoughts: Like almost all metal shelving, these can be loud if something bangs into a shelf. Dragging the shelving unit through an empty room is a whole lot of noise. There is a pleasing lack of excess packaging (no foam inserts or similar wastefulness). The last step with the mallet is really optional but does ensure you pushed the shelves down all the way on the plastic brackets.
Only real drawback is that small items have to go into a bin or box, and items without a smooth bottom won't slide cleanly over the wire shelving.
Well made, well-priced, and if it's like the ones I've had before, nearly indestructible. Very useful and thus Highly Recommended.
