This is everything I did with my Amazon basics knives! They are red and white, so they match Nintendo and my red white/black kitchen! They are very sharp and they stay sharp a long time. They have been a great addition to the kitchen, and I really love them! It is a great set that comes with a lot of different colors so, even if you’re switching the aesthetic of your kitchen, you have various colors to choose from with what matches whatever season you are doing!

I recognize that inexpensive items on Amazon are usually made in China. That is not necessarily a deal breaker. But each knife is imprinted with Made In China where the blade and hilt meet.

I just don't like the way it looks on the knife magnet. I have them turned the other way but it's more awkward.

For some reason, I have continued to use old, dulled chopping and paring knives I've had for a long time. These were such a great deal and I don't know why I waited so long to purchase them. Chopping with a sharp knife makes me not dread cutting up veggies anymore! It may seem silly, but I went so long struggling with chopping and didn't realize how dull my old knives were until I began using these. I also love the sheaths/covers for the blade. These are not to be put in the dishwasher, so if that's a deal breaker for you, I wouldn't recommend. However, I have found it's worth it to hand wash them and preserve the knife quality. Would recommend and would purchase again if I needed to!
