I got tired of pulling out the battery charger or extension cord for my hedge clippers and decided to go old school with these manual handheld clippers. They are sharp, good quality, easy to use and work great, but I would only recommend them for casual trimming and quick touchup cutting. I have about 6 boxwoods and to use these to trim all of those is a real workout. They are light but if you use them long enough they get pretty heavy. I knew all of this when I bought them and thus they work for what they are intended for, but I will be on Amazon later looking for a new rechargeable or electric pair to have when I have lots of cutting/trimming to do. These are great for quick jobs!
