It arrived with a dent but I was able to pop it back out.I was unable to open the cabinet door in our bathroom with the Simple Human trash can we had but now I am able to put the largest package of toilet paper into the cabinet without removing the trashcan from its corner first.I will say when purchasing specialty trash bags from Amazon meant for the 6-10 gallon opposed to just sticking with our nice Costco 13 gallon trash bags, I was disappointed in the fact that the Costco ones reach deeper, they are stronger and the lid closes just as well with the standard trash bags. There was relatively zero gain from using trash bags advertised as being perfect for this shape of trash can.My final image depicts how you would wedge the trash can lid open. Our other trash cans have this feature and I use it quite frequently. It might be nice for buyers if the seller would take pictures of this and add them into the product imagines provided.I was surprised at how large this trash can really is but as mentioned previously I really needed this shape of a trash can in order to not have to remove the trash can when I come home with our groceries that go into that cabinet. Before I would have to remove the trash can in order to organize the products in such a way that they all fit.

 I think this is a pretty nice trash can overall for the price. It’s rather large, which I like, and the lid closes slowly and quietly. The reason I’m rating it 4/5 stars is because the lid was already dented straight out of the box (shown in video). The lid itself is a bit flimsy and if it’s already dented before I even opened the box then I expect it to dent easily from use over time... Other than that, nothing to complain about! 4/5 stars!

The trash bag folks and the trash can folks need to come together.
The can is perfect. It is everything that the description states. There is however one glaring hang up.
We have a can that uses 6 gallon bags. Purchased those bags right here at Amazon. To my mind a 6 gallon bag should fit a 5.3 gallon trash can.
Not so much. As a matter of fact. Not even close.
So something is a miss. Either the can folks are off or the bag folks are using a different gallon to measure by.
We don't need a larger can. We barely fill up the existing can. Which I come to find out is 3.1 gallons. Yet the 6 gallon bag fits perfectly. The 6 gallon bag is only slightly larger than the 3.1 gallon can?!?!
Amazon is correct. This item is returned a lot. People know their bag size and order accordingly. Yet the can is far larger than the bag.
This can would work great with 8 to 13 gallon bags.
