Deanna Pai is a freelance writer, editor, and copywriter who's been writing about beauty, health, and wellness for more than a decade — as well as a longtime contributor to Allure. Prior to freelancing, she was the senior associate beauty editor at Cosmopolitan. When she's not experimenting with skin-care products, you can find her reading, running, or sitting outside with her eyes closed.
