Local students to explore aviation careers at first 2024 ACE Academy next week

As students' start to map out their future careers they will be getting a little help this month from the NCDOT.

NCDOT Division of Aviation Career Education (ACE) Academy Program has announced they will be partnering with the N.C. Global TransPark (GTP): Kinston Regional Jetport. Moreover, Lenoir County Public Schools and Greene County Public Schools will be hosting the first 2024 ACE Academy next week. This will be an opportunity to motivate middle and high school students to learn more about aviation careers. Activities include camps, field trips including visiting NC State and the Mount Olive Flight School along with presentations.
