Police in Georgia released video of a wild chase involving a large construction vehicle that was driving "erratically" around several streets.

Police in Gwinnett County were called to a waste management business after a front loader was reported stolen on Saturday.

Video shows police talking with employees who tell them that a former employee, who was identified as Eddie Sanchez, had taken off with the front loader.

A police officer is seen instructing Sanchez to stop, but he ignores the officer and continues driving.

He is not stopping for me," the police officer tells the dispatcher. "I have no way of stopping this vehicle.

Minutes later, an employee at the waste management is asked by a police officer how fast the front loader can go.

"They can get up to about 30," says the man.

A news release stated that a trash truck and another front loader were escorted by police to the fleeing suspect several miles away.

Several police vehicles and the pursuing front loader are seen chasing Sanchez.

This is unbelievable," says a police officer.

Sanchez is eventually stopped when the front loader he's in is flipped on its side by the pursuing front loader.

The suspect was pulled out of the cab and placed in handcuffs after the 5-mile chase.

The 38-year-old was booked into jail after he was examined at a hospital, police stated.

Sanchez was charged with criminal trespass, theft by taking, fleeing or attempting to elude, reckless driving, criminal damage to property and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Police stated they learned Sanchez was fired from the business last year and had visited the business several days before Saturday and did something similar, but never left the property.

Police noted that no motorists were injured, nor were any vehicles or patrol cars were damaged.
