Police seek suspects in shooting death of Sonic manager on Northwest side

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (WOAI/KABB) — UPDATE (5:30 P.M.) - Police have released photos of the suspects they believe are suspects in the murder of a manager at a Northwest side Sonic location.

The suspects and victim were reportedly arguing before one of the suspects opened fire, killing the manager.

The manager of a Sonic was fatally shot after getting into a fight with a customer over an order, according to San Antonio police.

The deadly shooting happened just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the Sonic off Babcock Road near Eckhert Road on the Northwest Side, police said.

Officers added the employee got into a fight with the customer over money. That's when the customer pulled out a gun and shot the employee before taking off.

The employee was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are working to get surveillance video to get a description of the alleged gunman.
