What is the World Printers Summit?

The World Printers Summit is the annual meeting point for the global print community within WAN-IFRA. 

It addresses all print related questions and brings together printers, materials suppliers and equipment manufacturers for the print production value chain from pre-press to press and to product finishing and delivery.

Since its kickoff in Frankfurt in 2021, WPS has been the hub for top production executives, technical directors, procurement leaders, and technology providers.

What does the fee include?

The registration fee to WPS24 includes

  • Access to all sessions during the two-day event.
  • Catering (coffee breaks and lunch)
  • Networking evening on 8 Oct.

Cancellation Policy

If the delegate cancels the registration up to 30 days prior to the event, the registration fee will be reimbursed in accordance with the terms specified in article 2.3, minus a 10% non-refundable handling fee. Up to 14 days before the event, 50% of the amount will be reimbursed. In the last 14 days prior to the event, no reimbursement will be possible except in cases of illness (with production of a medical certificate) or an  Act of God (supported by verifiable documentation). Can multiple people register from the same company?

A maximum of two individuals from a single company is allowed in the same meeting. If more than two intend to join the event, they need to reserve an extra meeting calendar, or register with the “Conference only” registration type (starting from the 3rd person). For clarification:

  • Up to two participants can register using the “Meetings + Conference” registration type.
  • The 3rd and 4th participants can use the “Meetings + Conference” registration type, if they take an additional meeting calendar.
  • If you do not wish to have two meeting calendars (resulting in a total of 12 meetings with suppliers), anyone registering after the second person must opt for the “Conference only” registration type.
  • Up to two meeting calendars can be booked from a single company.

Supplier meetings: How does it work?

Your ticket to the event is 190EUR (+VAT) if you commit to 6 pre-scheduled meetings with suppliers booked through our meeting matching system. 

Closer to the event, you will receive a link to select the preferred suppliers you would like to have meetings with. Kindly note that while you are required to have 6 meetings, you need to choose 10 suppliers. This does not mean that you will have 10 meetings, but we guarantee a minimum of 6, and try to allocate more if the schedule allows.

Can I have the same meeting schedule as my colleagues from the same company?

A maximum of two individuals from a single company is allowed in the same meeting.

How long is every meeting?

Each pre-scheduled meeting is 25 minutes.

How are meetings allocated?

Both attendees and suppliers choose who they prefer to meet, the system will then match them and set up meetings based on mutual interest as first preference. If only one party requested to meet, the system will allocate this meeting as second preference.

I selected certain suppliers, but also got meetings with ones I did not select.

This is possible. The system matches parties with mutual interest first, then depending on availability. We will have various networking times available during the event where you can speak to the desired supplier who is not in your official meeting diary.

I cannot/do not want to attend all meetings provided in my meeting diary. Can I cancel any?

Yes, you can cancel the concerning meeting on the meeting diary system. However, WAN-IFRA reserves the right to charge you for full registration if you have less than 6 meetings due to a cancellation/change from your side.

Can I change my meeting schedule after it’s confirmed?

You can cancel and change the meeting schedule, if the time slots are available from the supplier you wish to meet. WAN-IFRA reserves the right to charge you for full registration if you have less than 6 meetings due to a cancellation/change from your side.

Can a supplier reach out to me to set a meeting?

If a supplier wishes to schedule a meeting with an attendee not initially listed in the meeting diary, they can extend an invitation through our meeting matching system. As an attendee, you will receive an email invitation via the meeting matching system, and you can choose to either accept or decline the invitation based on your preference.
