Don’t miss out on a truly informative Farming Today episode on BBC Radio 4 to hear how AI is transforming the health and welfare of pigs!🐖 The WE UK team secured a top-tier media opportunity to showcase the launch of SoundTalks in the UK during Farming Today's week-long focus on AI.   Built on 10 years of real farm sound data, this tool uses AI algorithms to ‘listen’ to the frequency and intensity of coughs in pigs, alerting farmers to the onset of potential respiratory problems sooner. Through earlier detection, farmers and vets can deliver earlier appropriate treatments and responses, improving health outcomes, and minimise the risk of infection across the herd.   ➡️ You can listen to the SoundTalks interview as the first segment on this episode: https://lnkd.in/dfCS6rzd   #AnimalHealth #Innovation #Tech

Following our recent panel discussion on the results of the 2024 UK general election, our Director of Corporate Reputation and Brand Purpose, Ryan Larnach, shares his three key takeaways for businesses:   👉 Follow the missions: Labour's 'five missions' present opportunities for businesses to fill gaps in delivery. Ryan advises businesses to be proactive in thinking about how you can serve them.   👉 Public expectations are low: Public opinion of Labour's ability to deliver change is low, but this means any noticeable improvements they make could exceed expectations and resonate strongly with the public. Businesses in a position to contribute to positive change are also likely to benefit from public opinion.   👉 The next government has time: Five years is a long time in politics, but Labour's potential for two terms - boosted by low voter expectations and strong potential to deliver change - provides a longer runway for businesses to adapt and engage.   "These lessons provide a framework for navigating the post-2024 electoral landscape." Ryan says, "Now more than ever, our role is to help organisations thrive in this new political reality."   How are you applying these lessons? How should businesses and communicators interpret the results of the 2024 UK general election and get ahead of the new 'mission-driven’ government?   Yesterday morning, the WE UK team, along with our public affairs partners Lodestone Communications, hosted a post-election brunch to dive into the answers.   Moderated by WE UK's Ryan Larnach, the Chatham House Rules panel included Sky News presenter Matt Barbet, Damian Lyons Lowe, CEO of Survation Ltd, and Lodestone Communications managing director Martha Dalton. It was a fascinating discussion, reflecting on the opportunities and challenges facing the new government - and how communicators can start to build a strategy to align effectively.   Stay tuned for more insights over the coming days, and if you're interested in learning more about how to communicate in the wake of the Labour landslide, contact Jasmin Athwal directly at jathwal@we-worldwide.com.

It was a pleasure to attend the PRCA health group's panel discussion on creativity in communications. 💡 In such a regulated industry, creativity can be easily stifled by competing stakeholder interests and compliance issues. The speakers provided some excellent insights into making creative ideas stick and seeing them through to completion. The team also had the opportunity to hear about some of the brilliant work across healthcare communications, which hammered home the importance of immersing yourself in new ideas to inspire creativity. Looking forward to the next one! 🤩
