We seek a seasoned, results-driven, growth-minded, and creative culture marketing leader who embodies Bumble’s values.

The VP, Culture Marketing will be at the center of creating experiences that align Bumble Inc. and its family of brands with the cultural zeitgeist while driving awareness and growth. Through leading programs including brand and culture marketing, social media, celebrity engagement, influencer marketing, owned context experiences (podcasts, series), experiential events, and social good. This person not just has a pulse on relevant topics, they build brands that have an active voice in shaping what’s trending.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategy, program development: Lead global strategy and campaign development across program leads, ensuring that all programs clearly ladder up to global marketing goals and KPIs
  • Oversee the development and execution of the following programs, alongside senior team leaders
  • Brand and culture marketing: Build portfolio-wide strategies, mission-led marketing initiatives, and brand and culture projects that lean into Bumble’s core mission and differentiators
  • Social media: Build an engaged audience of fans across our brands with platform-specific strategies and content
  • Celebrity and talent: Plug into the cultural zeitgeist with top brand name celebrity branded engagements
  • Influencer marketing: Develop meaningful relationships with content creators to support our brands.
  • Owned content: Build and execute strategic owned content programs (e.g. podcasts, original series) that promote our brands.
  • Experiential activations: Oversee how our brand delivers in real life (IRL) throughout culturally relevant moments (e.g. WNBA, Coachella)
  • People management: Serve as a leader of leaders with a wide ranging scope of responsibilities, delivering timely and relevant feedback that builds our people while staying aligned to Bumble marketing’s goals.
  • Spearhead, develop, and implement frameworks for tracking and reporting on campaign performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide insights and implement recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting media performance and strategic initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the culture marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Build a high-performing team by recruiting top talent and providing ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Promote collaboration and communication within the culture marketing team and across other departments.
  • Work closely with other teams, such as content, creative, media, communications, and product to ensure cohesive and integrated campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for culture marketing matters, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across the organisation.
  • Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives to support business growth and improve culture marketing operations.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in media planning, buying, and management, with at least 8 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful media strategies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Deep understanding of culture and brand marketing across various channels.
  • Exceptional data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
