We are looking for a Technologist who will work collaboratively with cross functional internal teams on all technical regulatory aspects of product development, ensuring all products are compliant in the global marketplace. The Technologist at Revolution will work with suppliers and external agencies in ensuring all testing and documentation is in place and key technical milestones are met within the product development timeline.

What You’ll Do

  • Supporting the Product Team in product development, offering technical advice where applicable
  • Highlight potential concerns during development and providing a clear communication on risk assessment
  • Cross functional working with internal teams to ensure accurate communication related to project plans and timelines
  • Day-to-day interaction with global suppliers and external parties to ensure all documentation is collated for safety assessments within product timelines and testing is in place for non-cosmetic products
  • Prioritise workload to ensure all products go through all stages of product compliance within the product timelines (formulation review, Artwork Review, Provisional CPSR, CPSR, CPNP, SCPN, FDA PLN)
  • Approving product artwork, ensuring all regulated components are present and in line with artwork guidelines and global regulations
  • Working with the product team, testing houses and suppliers to ensure all product claims are substantiated
  • Ensuring product market compliance is up to date in the compliance trackers
  • Keeping the technical database up to date with technical data
  • Support the Technical team with implementation of changes due to regulation updates
  • Ensure all documentation needed for international registration is in place before product launch
  • Ensure distributors are provided with all information necessary to complete product registration
  • Ensuring relevant steps are being taken to meet licensor requirements
  • Support retailers and customer services with any technical queries


What You’ll Have

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a relevant field
  • A good understanding of global cosmetics regulations and cosmetic product manufacturing
  • An in depth understanding of labelling requirements across global markets
  • Data entry or systems administration
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills & attitude with both internal and external customers
  • Confidence in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Smartsheet would be beneficial
  • A good understanding of the key milestones in the development process
  • Experience in Technical problem solving/solutions
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Experience managing documentation in a controlled environment, ideally within the cosmetics/personal care industry
  • Experience with international registration is desirable
  • Experience in multiple product categories is desirable
