The role:

In this role, you'll spearhead growth while cultivating a culture of proactivity and client-centricity. You'll have the autonomy to shape the position in ways that propel Sago Europe towards rapid expansion. As a coach to your team, your guidance will be crucial.

The ideal candidate is someone with a high drive and a low ego, complemented by robust sales and interpersonal skills. (Maybe you are currently leading a country team and looking to broaden your scope into a pan-European role). This exciting and challenging opportunity is perfect for those ready to make a significant impact.

At Sago you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing, and executing sales strategies, and managing a team of 16 sales professionals within the European market. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, establishing strong relationships with clients, and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Increase overall market share within the channel
  • Manage a diverse team of Account Executives and Account Managers
  • Hold the team accountable to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Coach, mentor and inspire the team on the sales process es and deal strategy
  • Leverage available metrics and tools to ensure the team is executing against best practices
  • Minimize customer churn and implement customer retention strategies
  • Understand market dynamics and competitive pressures and communicate & implement go to market strategies


Requirements

  • Results driven leader, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Experience in coaching individuals to a successful outcome
  • Experience in driving cultural shifts within sales teams, emphasizing a proactive, customer-focused approach
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in analyzing sales data and market trends
  • English C1 level as a minimum - German, Spanish or French as second language is a plus
