Principal Consultant - The Industry Club // Project Management / Creative Production hiring for both permanant and freelance roles

We have a new role in for an ambitious SENIOR PRODUCER to join a creative agency with a vibrant production department, managing a high volume of world-class global and national film and photography campaigns that sit online.


Responsibilities:

  • Transform creative concepts into reality while maintaining top-tier standards, staying on brief, and delivering within budget.
  • Oversee all aspects of production, ensuring multiple high-budget projects are delivered from start to finish, encompassing budget, team, resource, and critical path management.
  • Devise production strategies at the project’s onset, assessing budgets, resources, timelines, and feasibility.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and strategic leads, forming part of the project leadership team to guide the project to success.
  • Mitigate and solve problems as they arise.
  • Source, manage, and coordinate third-party suppliers, building production teams and experts.
  • Hire, onboard, and manage freelance resources where appropriate.
  • Work with third-party production consultants to deliver projects on scope and budget.
  • Foster strong internal relationships within the team and support the development of junior members.
  • Manage business affairs documents and legal sign-off processes.
  • Negotiate contract terms and fees with talent agents.
  • Fully reconcile budgets once the project is completed.
  • Act as the client-facing production expert across projects.
  • Brief creative teams, including art directors, retouchers, editors, and composers.
  • Manage all production aspects: pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Make informed autonomous decisions for projects and escalate for further approvals when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Production experience.
  • A solid network of industry contacts, including freelance crew, creative teams, photographers, studios, and agents.
  • Strong technical production skills, including crew terms, industry standards, APA crew rates, and legal responsibilities.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing junior team members.
  • Proven success in delivering projects within budget parameters.
  • Experience in producing and line producing international productions.
  • Skilled negotiator when dealing with agents.
  • Previous experience managing 3D, VFX, and animation is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with high-profile talent is highly desirable.
  • A portfolio of high-quality film and photographic content.

**Salary is dependent on level of Producer and projects will be allocated accordingly
