Complexio is Foundational AI. It works to automate business activities by ingesting whole company data – both structured and unstructured – and making sense of it. Using proprietary models and algorithms Complexio forms a deep understanding of how humans are interacting and using it. Automation can then replicate and improve these actions independently.

Complexio is a joint venture between Hafnia and Símbolo, in partnership with Marfin Management, C Transport Maritime, Trans Sea Transport and BW Epic Kosan.

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Sales Director to spearhead our sales operations.

Initially, this role will be as a sole contributor with the opportunity, based on performance and strategic goals, to build and lead a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS sales, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry, and a deep understanding of AI technologies. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals
  • Act as the primary sales representative, managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the shipping industry
  • Drive a consultative and solutions-oriented sales approach
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with product offerings and market positioning
  • Work with the marketing team to continually improve and measure the success of the sales funnel and conversion rates
  • Work closely with the Customer Success and Account Management teams to ensure client satisfaction and foster successful long-term relationships
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the executive team, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
  • Depending on performance and strategic alignment, build and lead a high-performing sales team

  • Proven track record of success in SaaS sales (5 years+), preferably within the shipping or logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies and their applications in the shipping sector
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the potential to inspire and motivate a sales team
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Customer Success, Account Management, and Marketing teams to ensure client success and optimize the sales funnel
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends to drive informed decisions
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
