Quality Lead
You will be reporting to the Operating Officer (COO), the post holder will be responsible for the management of io’s corporate BMS and ensuring on going ISO 9001:2015 certification. The role also requires supporting io’s projects as a project quality manager (PQM). It is envisaged that 50% of the role will be dedicated to projects and 50% of the role dedicated to corporate activities.

Responsibilities
Corporate Quality Leadership:
- Manage, maintain and improve the io corporate quality management system
- Own the relationship with io’s third party ISO9001 auditor
- Maintain io’s ISO 9001 certification
- Drive improvement into io’s corporate quality systems
- Maintain corporate functional KPI statistics for monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Audit the effectiveness of the processes to authenticate conformance, identify any non-conformities and support continual improvement
- Own the management review process
- Plan and manage quality awareness education for all employees at io
Project Quality Leadership:
- Through new and ongoing relationship building, keep abreast of current trends within the energy and environmental markets (e.g. Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Water Treatment, etc)
- Identify new market opportunities and profile customer needs, from which to develop new sales campaigns and value propositions.
- Develop a strategic approach to grow our business in the energy and environmental industries.
- Develop and maintain Business Plans for established clients and capture plans for new clients.
- Create sales presentation material as well as contribute to new service introduction initiatives.
- Support the promotion of the brand through digital means and attend key industry events.
- Lobby decision-makers to penetrate new markets.
- Drive market and competitive analysis.
- Answer bids and support deal closure.
Who are we looking for:
- Extensive experience with quality requirements for projects with high engineering/technical content, economic modelling and planning aspects for large-scale infrastructure
- Ideally has experience of energy transition projects
- Ideally has experience working within in the front-end of energy projects
- Needs to be able to work autonomously across projects and corporate quality roles
- Ideally has experience of a start up but not essential
- Any HSSE experience would be a benefit, but it is not essential.
- Experience in a client facing, project environment
- Quality audit training & experience
- Continuous improvement driver / change agent
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Fully computer literate (MS Word/Excel/Outlook)
- General project process knowledge
- Quality audit experience
- Analytical and reporting skills
- Change implementation skills and track records
- Ability to prioritize work and lead action until closure
- Understanding and experience of problem solving methodology
