About us

TRIA was formed back in 2015, having worked in the recruitment industry for more years than we care to remember. We were all equally fed up with the large company politics, target driven environments and lack of treating people like people. So, at TRIA we decided to build a company that celebrates a grown-up approach to recruitment and building relationships that last a lifetime. No KPI’s, no bellringing. Just good, honest recruitment and 100% trust in our consultants to do the job properly. We truly believe that there is a demand for a tech recruitment organisation that values relationships over quick wins. That’s why we work closely with our clients and candidates to understand their individual needs and/or the culture of the business, taking the pain out of the recruitment process and delivering the best experience possible for every single role we work on – Whether that is a niche one-off requirement or a full-scale IT digital transformation, we’ve done it all. So, what is it exactly that we do? Well, TRIA specialise in IT & Digital Recruitment and Business Transformation. We take the time to tailor a bespoke solution to your business offering a full range of permanent and contract recruitment services, which range from Contingent Recruitment, Managed Staffing Services and Onsite Projects. If you are on the lookout for your next role or you are interested in working with TRIA please give us a call on 0117 332 7000 or feel free to drop us a line at info@triarecruitment.com

Changes in leadership can destroy the culture you’ve built… Or they can drive your organisation higher and further than ever before. These changes are inevitable and managing them effectively is crucial. Communication is key. Share your vision with your team, listen to feedback, and bring them into moving towards the future. 1 in 5 workers will leave their job due to poor leadership*, so most importantly, before hiring, make sure you understand exactly what you need and the type of leader your organisation requires. *CIPD Good Work Index 2024

Over 10,000 Applications... Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but we all hire at some point, and whatever role you post, you're going to end up with a lot of applicants and a lot of CVs to go through. Those CVs are your first impression of a candidate. Some won't be relevant, some won't be human, and some will just leave you confused... But in time you develop a sixth sense for a good CV and a bad one. So...

The water in Bristol Harbour was surprisingly refreshing yesterday for the TRIA Q3 team building afternoon. We know because most of us spent more time in the water than on our boards. Congratulations to Nicol for being the only team member who managed to stay dry. We’re on the lookout for experienced recruiters in Bristol to join our team, so if you fancy dipping a toe in, drop the team a message on LinkedIn.

👩💻 Diversity in Tech Roundup 👩💻 There's been loads of fantastic diversity in tech content and events on my feed over the last couple of weeks- so as usual, here's a quick roundup of some of my highlights that I think you should check out whilst you wait for people to join that Teams meeting... 🔥 I've posted about Code First Girls before, and this won't be the last time either! They've partnered with NatWest to support 130 career switchers into tech. Read more here https://lnkd.in/e7mgi35Q 🎧 Podcast episode- check out Sophie Hussey as a guest on the STEM Stories podcast with Georgina Green, discussing how you don't need to be a 'techie' to go into tech! https://lnkd.in/e9DUwQt7 💻 Make sure you're following She Bytes Back, and check out what they're doing recently with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT to provide subsidised memberships 🎉 https://lnkd.in/eY3A64Gp 🌍 AI is still the hot topic at the minute, and this event later this week is sure to be an interesting discussion about AI in the diversity space- check out Zara Nanu MBE's post here for more info https://lnkd.in/eAzTqZXJ 👩💻 It is a real shame to read that the number of girls taking GCSE technology is dropping, and Sally-Anne Baxter's thoughts on this in her post were really interesting. All the more reason for the TRIA team to keep supporting young students in our schools workshops! https://lnkd.in/ea6E5ay3 I'm sure there's loads I have missed, and I have seen so much interesting and relevant content around Pride month in June that it deserves its own post, which I will try and do soon 🌈 #diversityroundup #womenintech #diversityintech #womenintechroundup #AI #DEI #diversity #diverserecruitment

It's enough to store the entire Lord of the Rings Trilogy Extended 4K Edition six hundred forty-eight billion three hundred forty-three million seven hundred ninety-two thousand three hundred twenty-eight times... If we had to guess. Everything we do in the modern world creates data and investing in turning that data into something actionable is not an easy journey, but it is one that will start see a return from investment from quickly. Last Sunday, Alan Jones, Tim Donaghy, Guy Perring and Tristan Rowcliffe took part in the "Break the Cycle" cycling event organised by Bristol Sport Foundation. The team covered 100 miles through the beautiful Somerset countryside, including a monstrous climb up Cheddar Gorge. It was a test of endurance lasting over six hours, fuelled by energy gels, Haribo, pasta, determination, and teamwork. Despite a crash early on in the cycle, the team powered through and had an unforgettable experience. A massive thanks to Bristol Sport for organising the event… Especially the Nando's UK & IRE at the end.
