The Opportunity
iGB is the leading B2B media brand in the gaming industry, and we're looking to consolidate our position in 2024. As we ramp up expansion plans across multiple markets, we're looking for a features writer. You'll help drive our content calendar of analysis and interviews as well as taking the lead on innovative newsletter products, ensuring a steady flow of engaging in-depth analysis that sets the gaming industry agenda.

You'll help drive our content calendar of analysis and interviews as well as taking the lead on innovative newsletter products, ensuring a steady flow of engaging in-depth analysis that sets the gaming industry agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track overarching industry trends and provide in-depth analysis of sector progress
- Lead the development of new content-driven products, including newsletters, videos, podcasts, and webinars
- Collaborate with the global managing editor to test and refine new content formats
- Contribute innovative ideas for features and interviews, managing an industry beat
- Shape and refine features in your unique voice while ensuring copy is clean, optimized, and accurate
- Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of interviews and analysis using Dynamics365
- Execute the content calendar with pre-planned features and timely analysis of major developments
- Lead and deliver special projects such as unique newsletters and reports, collaborating with editorial and commercial content teams
- Build relationships with industry leaders, suppliers, operators, and government officials to feature them throughout the year
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- Deep understanding of the gaming industry and its trends, with the ability to look beyond the news agenda
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with experience in multimedia content creation
- Strong research and analytical skills to interpret industry trends and produce high-quality analysis
- Innovative thinker with a passion for exploring new content formats and generating creative ideas
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with experience in project management tools
- Comfortable networking and building industry knowledge, developing relationships with key stakeholders
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy, maintaining a diverse range of views and perspectives in content
- Capable of multitasking and adapting to a fast-paced environment, open to testing and refining new content formats
- Ability to increase views and time on page for long-form content through optimization and effective marketing strategies
